This venue is constantly changing, DJ sets are programmed to be eclectic, a varied roasta of club nights are on offer throughout the week and the staff and security are known for their friendly, no nonsense approach. Despite its varied sets & club nights the DJ’s always offer up-tempo good time tunes to a good time crowd with no pretense.
Nights:
Fridays are hosted by the cheeky BOOBYTRAP guys 'n' gals with 3 different rooms of musical offerings - Rock, Hip Hop, Electro, respectively in each. DJ's from 8pm, free before 10pm $10 after. Closes 6am.
Saturday night is WHAM! night with chunky house, electro funk & breaks in the main room whilst funk and live percussion take stage out the front. DJ's from 8pm, free before 10pm $15 after. Closes 7am.
Sydney's biggest Tuesday is our massive midweek bender MAGIC ROUNDABOUT. Classic anthems and all the big retro hits do their best to help you forget about work the next day. DJ's from 9pm, free entry. Closes at 4am.
Thursdays are our indie rocknroll student night ‘NEVER MIND THE WEEKEND’. A rotation of Sydney's ‘so hot right now’ underground bands held together by the Dark Horse DJ’s. Also heaps of drink deals and student discounts for members. DJ's 9pm until 3am…ish. Free entry.
Sundays are THE ESSENCE, $5/10 entry after 10pm gets you some of Sydneys freshest turntable sluts spinning everything from soul to nu jazz, hip hop, house and funk accompanied each week by live percussion, sax and strings – Bar/club/music industry get in free.
